Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Great bank

On a couple of occasions I have messed up my finances, they arranged a meeting, got me on track and scrapped charges as realised wouldn't help clearing debts! Reviewed on: 10th November 2017

Adequate,

I’ve been with Barclays all my life, the accounts been adequate. I like the cash back option on online spending. The app is good. Loans are expensive. Not much perk for continuing customers, majority of rewards for new customers. Reviewed on: 10th November 2017

The impression given by this company is that it makes its money elsewhere

The local branch was recently transformed into the bridge of the Starship Enterprise; I don't know if there was any customer consultation about this, but I doubt it. the effect is that conversations with account holders formerly taking place in private are in a public arena -- quite possibly en route to social media. Good fraud prevention

Stopped someone who cloned my card from going on a spending spree! They flagged it up straight away and contacted me . Reviewed on: 9th November 2017

All round good bank

Never had a problem with this bank, theyve always helped me solve any problem from being overdrawn to loosing my card. Love the security i recieve from them. Reviewed on: 9th November 2017

Love the Rewards scheme

I pay in £3 month they top it up with another £4 and top it off with the ability to earn cash back at different retailers. Reviewed on: 9th November 2017
