Buy for Uni mortgage

We applied for a niche product, a Buy for Uni mortgage, which is only offered by 3 lenders. In fact, of the 3, the Bath BS was the only one that could meet all our criteria. Excellent service from start to finish with supportive and informative advice from Tim Randell. The application form was a little old fashioned, completed in pen and posted back! But in reality it was no problem. It was processed quickly and the offer made without any real delays. Reviewed on: 28th June 2024

24 years on, with perfect customer service

I took my first mortgage out with the Bath in 2000. Since then I have had several mortgage and savings product. My last mortgage was granted during the days of Mr and Mrs Hodgman running the Society. I recently had to make some changes to my mortgage and the Society, including the Mortgage Team were outstanding in terms of customer service, speed of reaction, engagement and a 'can do' approach. The experience was exactly the same from my perspective when you used to have to go and see Mr and Mrs Hodgman for tea and a chat to see if you had been successful for a mortgage. I must name check Craig in the mortgage team who is an absolute credit to the Society and he was so helpful to me. It's a pleasure to do business with the Society and I highly recommend them, as their values and their integrity do not change. Reviewed on: 13th September 2024
