A good reliable and friendly company.

I’ve had ISA savings for a number of years with BBS and have always been happy with the service and the interest rates. I used to do transactions through an agency but that option is no longer available so I now do them over the telephone. I find this quite simple and straightforward and the staff are always so very helpful and friendly. Reviewed on: 7th April 2023

Difficult to talk to anyone due to poor IT

Tried calling at all times of the day and the phone is never answered, finally got through on the chat, also after several attempts. Rachel was very helpful and solved my problem when I did get through. You need to improve your IT and phone calls! Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Last week we did have a problem with one of our phone lines which also impacted the internet connectivity to the branch where Rachel usually works. During this period we did have to divert calls and webchats elsewhere and this did cause our service levels to drop for a few days. Normally, within working hours, the vast majority of our calls and webchats are answered within 30 seconds which we are quite proud of. Outside of normal working hours we have just launched a Mobile App which you may be interested in and we also developing chat bot functionality that will answer simple enquiries when our staff are not available to assist. I am glad that Rachel was eventually able to help you and hope that next time you need to contact us, it will be more straightforward. Great personal service

I love the fact that I have a name, a real person, with whom I can have a conversation about my financial needs. I have always received an instant response and an appropriate set of actions. There isn't someone in Mumbai dealing with my requests. The Building Society is just that, it can't offer all of the services which a National Bank might. However, I can mange the differences. very good savings interest rates and exceptional customer service

I know that their savings interest rates are very high, which is why we moved some saving accounts to Bath Building Society. When I was opening accounts, the customer service was really helpful over the live chat and emails. They are also very quick in responding. I am always so impressed with their service. Efficient and Friendly
