Pre-lockdown: The office staff are polite, efficient, and courteous. During lockdown: I have been able to make my few basic transactions by post or phone. I do not make any financial transactions by internet under any circumstances. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Very cheerful staff in branch. Very helpful lady with recent email communication too. Always a bit concerned about the steps into the Wood St. branch, although nothing much you can do to make them safer, I suppose. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Whenever we visit BIBS at Midsomer Norton we are NEVER disappointed by the efficiency & friendliness of the staff. The last time my wife called the lady took the time to explain a way we could make a certain transaction easier & quicker in the future. Always been very helpful except for 1 occasion. I filled a form out - self isolating - to transfer some money out of my account with you to my ordinary bank account and asked for it to go across on 1/6/2020. It was actually sent across about 10 days early! I was not happy! Whoever did it obviously didn't read the form properly! Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

This is far below the standard that you, or I, would expect from Bath Building Society. I have asked the team to ensure that we remain vigilant when processing customer payment requests and will continue to embed this with regular training sessions for all customer contact staff. The fact that you have tried to resolve this on several occasions is particularly disappointing to me. I have asked our Savings Operations Manager to review all the processes associated with changing addresses and I will also ensure that this is process is focused on in our regular training sessions for all customer contact staff.
