All the Staff are very helpful, personable, friendly and always ready to help with any query. I always enjoy my visits to BIBS in Moorland Rd, Where the Staff are exceptional. Even under lockdown the Service is efficient and friendly. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Iv had quite a few problems whith addresses

Nothing wrong just no interest given

They are ok but reduce the interest rate every year on savings. Coming to the point that there is no need to have the account. Shame really but I guess that’s life. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020
Reply from Bath Building Society Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry that you feel that rates are reducing every year. We have been trying very hard to make sure that our products are simple and our rates fair and I can confirm that all our savings accounts are rated as at least ‘competitive’ by Moneyfacts. Before the recent Bank of England Base Rate cuts we increased the interest rates we paid to over 70% of our member during the last year. We have also increased our 60 Day notice account this week from 0.60% to 0.80% AER. The challenge we are dealing with is a Bank of England Base rate at an historic low rate of 0.10% but we are doing our very best! Colin McDougall, Head of Marketing and Savings. Helpful, friendly building society

It is good to support a local building society and living in Oldfield Park, and having a branch in Moorland Road, makes transactions easy. It is a helpful and friendly branch, and I appreciate having a comfortable seat to sit on (before covid), whilst being served. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Great customer service ..but ...

We found ourselves in an unusual situation in that we are stranded abroad and needed to access our accounts and if need be transfer funds. Given the circumstances the telephone was answered without too long a delay but for us it proved the real value of the “ chat line “ service. Please look at maintain and enhancing this as any issues an be ironed out promptly. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020
