Not so small but perfectly formed

Have used them for 20 years or so. When living in Gillingham used their local agent. She was excellent. Now I deal by post with Head Office. Efficient and fast paper turn-around. Telephone advice is quick and easy. The savings rates are good. Above all it is a personal caring Building Society. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2024

Brilliant for Locals

BBS is a fantastic choice for anyone local to the area. It was hard to find a LISA with mainstream banks, but BBS came to the rescue. It was easy to set up, and it was also easy to get my queries answered when necessary. I was also surprised with a small box of Bath-based food goods, having had my account for a while, as they randomly select some account holders to receive them, which is a lovely way to reward customers. Bath Building Society - the best!

I have saved with Bath Building Society for many, many years and although I moved from Bath to Burnham on Sea twelve years ago my husband and I chose to leave our various accounts with BBS, Very helpful staff, excellent customer service and good interest rates. Deposits are made by sending cheques by post and the passbook is always returned showing the new deposit very quickly. Just wish that other financial business othered such a good service. Great personal service & very good rates

We've been saving with Bath Building Society since the financial crisis in 2008. In all that time, they have looked after our savings conscientiously with rates above many of the mainstream larger providers. Also, they have offices open where you can go in & talk to someone in person if you have a query - no queuing on a call system or clunky chats on screen. Good listeners, always helpful.
