Avoid at all cost

ABSOLUT COWBOY OF A COMPANY. No policy documents sent, call after call....hassle after hassle, and after all the time wasting when I do not want their service, they charged my card cancellation fees. unbelievable! Reviewed on: 6th November 2023

Scammers

The scammiest approach to dealing with customers. Bikesure is a "broker". You go through them, they show a decent price then you get emails from providers like Adrian Flux. I have gotten my insurance through them and paid for an annual one that cost £280 for a year. I selected it to start 3 weeks later and paid. I then got a email that they I needed to call to confirm a few things. I knew right away that it's going to be trouble. I called and asked me all those questions again. Because it wasnt in a locked garage but it was in a locked unaccessible garden, it went up from £280 to £900+. Naturally asked to cancel as you normally have a free cancelation period, but even though my contract would start in 3 weeks, I was asked to pay a £60 cancellation fee. I said it's unfair as my contract hasn't even officially started yet, and they referred the Terms of Service that I "agreed" with. Do not use. Reviewed on: 20th May 2023

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Went ahead with an insurance policy online, instead of being given a certificate, I was notified they were doing fraud checks. Fair enough. I needed something quick, so responded to their email shortly afterwards (11 minutes) and cancelled it. Went elsewhere and got insurance issued immediately. I was charged nearly £100 for the insurance that as never edited for 11 minutes. Complained and went through the motions, they don't care. Awful company, will never use and will hit you with admin charge after admin charge. AVOID this company, there are far better insurers out there. I went with Harley Davidson direct, they were far better. BIKESURE will CON you whenever they can. Reviewed on: 27th April 2023

They just after ur money

Waist of time and money.

Got insurance on line. Get email to contact them. After conversation they readjust bike purchase date. Price doubles. I Cancelled insurance which is not started yet. And they charge me cancelation fee for insurance not even started. Saying it takes time to set up which I done on line so no cost to company.What a waist of time and money. Ripoff. Scammers

Bought a new bike on the Saturday. Returned it on the Sunday due to an issue with it. Cancelled the policy on the Monday and Bikesure charged me £95 for the privilege of being insured for 2 days. They are absolute scammers. Make you take pictures of every angle of your bike, claim you don't have a garage at your property when you do. They want you to cancel early so they can rob you. Policy issue fee, I take issue with this.

Looked at the AXA policy and it's £81. Looked at the renewal notice and it's £151. The difference? Policy issue fee. That's a big fee. Reviewed on: 16th January 2023

Just out for your money

Made a genuine mistake on my on line application. And I was charged £80. I guess many people make genuine mistakes on their online applications. Rather than having a policy of of just rectifying the mistake, they must have sat around the board room table thinking we can make money out of this. Rip off company avoid

Insured my sons 50cc moped back in March 2022. Although the policy was overpriced and excess excessive I had no other options. I have a £950 excess! I moved home only to be ripped off with admin fees and policy was raised well over £100 for the remainder of the policy, over £100+ to change the address. The policy was taken out social, domestic and pleasure as my son is a full time student in a sixth form grammar school. The bike broke down, recovered as the breakdown didn’t bother trying to fix or attempt to repair at road side. My sixteen year old left stranded. My son started a 0 hours contract job in local McDonald’s 10 days ago working in the kitchen, after filling out a questionnaire I was shocked to find out he wasn’t covered to ride to his p/t job as he needs to earn some cash for Christmas. A lady from Bikesure rang me to milk me once again for more premium, although I wasn’t at all impressed, she refused to transfer me to a supervisor or manager. It was like talking to yourself and no reasoning with this company. She refused to give me any information on who to complain too, it was a complete rip off yet again. Another £75 to amend the policy and no goodwill!!!!! It company is a joke and I will never ever recommend or use this company in the future. Absolutely Disgusting Reviewed on: 22nd December 2022

Where do I begin.... so I set up a insurance policy with these guys, I did this during my night shifts, Went through fine paid a deposit, its now less than 14 days, and they have cancelled my insurance, I tried to contact them before when I initially seen and emailed to say contact us, this took over and hour and no1 answered, I sent and email for them to contact me, when on the occasions they tried to call I did not answer this was due to me sleeping in the day which I work nights of course I'm not going to be awake, I now owe 35.01 for cancellation well they got my deposit money for insurance which was more than that and I still owe this sum, on speaking to someone today it was not tried to resolved I was asked if il be paying this I will not be paying this, I informed them they should not allow policy to be set up over night if you need to contact the customer after insurance money has already been taken. The guy told me this isn't something out company will be taking into consideration at this time. I told them I'm not paying it the guy told me this will got to collection's team, before cancellation I set up the account with the third party provider they use this now shows on my credit score. This service is terrible I should have stayed with MCE but they went into administration, as bike sure did not tell me or even quote what they needed me for so urgently as I have certificates and set up account either the third party team which They should not produce insurance at night if your going to have issue, also on the phone it said they would take you circumstances into consideration They did not so I am stuff with a bill form this awful service. This is the worst insurance company I have use and I highly recommended YOU DO NOT use them very unhelpful, and definitely not if you work night shifts, I have been driving motor bikes over 16 years and never heard such bullsxxt so the total of this cancellation is 95.01, 35.01 cancellation and 60 administration fee.
