Reliable. Just works.

I have been with HSBC (current account) for almost 16 years and they have been brilliant throughout. I don’t really need to think about my account as it just works. Reviewed on: 11th February 2018

Really don't care about the little people.

Been a customer for 20 years and I go for some help after getting into some financial difficulty for the 1st time and was treated awfully. I was pretty much dismissed without even glancing at my details or history. As soon as I clear my overdraft with them i'm out of there! Excellent service and support

HSBC have been my bank since their transition from Midland Bank to Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. They have provided me with excellent support through some very trying times and always been at the end of the phone with advise and products to help me. Friendly staff at the bank

We are lucky enough to have an HSBC in ours small town, had current account for years and never had an issue. The local staff are very friendly and helpful - always take time to help and advise if they can. Telephone support is not so good however and feels unconnected to the bank itself - you have to phone a mail line for an appointment at your local bank and made an appointment twice through this and didn't work out either time.
