By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By Miles offer a competitive technology led solution for drivers such as myself who don’t get the best out of the tick box system. Their app has allowed me to conveniently separate my business and personal journeys, saving me time and money. So far they have proven themselves to be focussed on the customer experience, most recently with sincere and informative communication during the Covid outbreak. If only more insurers were like this.
