By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Such a good concept

I have been with miles for 6 months and I would recommend it to anyone, charged monthly by the mile but live trackers so no nasty surprises not that they would be any as I think miles is so competitively priced you would go a long way to find cheaper . Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

I only recently heard about By Miles, as my policy was almost due, I looked into the By Miles quote. It came out very reasonably priced. Then you pay monthly for the miles you use. Very efficient Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Overall hassle free cheap insurance with good cover.. Only problem is not a great idea for where the tracker fits in my car, had to take out one of the compartments from under my dash board to fit it and it comes loose easily, mine dropped out and went missing and had to pay to receive another one and started getting charged estimated milage when I didn't even know it was missing at first but no other issues. Great for low mileage drivers

Was significantly cheaper for me than the next lowest quote, though this is only true if you drive less than around 7000 miles a year. Great app as well, that shows a map of where you’ve driven and costs. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
