By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best thing to happen to insurance, by miles.

It's just nonsensical to pay to insure your car while it isn't being used, especially if it's tucked away in a garage or on a driveway. Paying only for what you use feels novel but it's obvious, accurate and simple. It's a revelation and it's oddly made my car insurance fun. Yes, fun. Not without hiccups however - we had an issue on day 1 where we couldn't charge our EV while the by miles widget was plugged in - I sent them some DMs and they fixed it over-the-air. Genius! I now pay less for insurance per month than ever before, and know there is a tech savvy team ready to help out if anything goes wrong! Keep up the great work. Reviewed on: 17th August 2022

I’ve been raving about this provider since I took the insurance out - what a fantastic way to insure your car without the headache! Pay for when it’s parked and only for the miles you travel.
