Love that I only pay for as much as I drive

Customer support were brilliant when I needed them, I love that I can track my journeys and that I only have to pay for as much or as little as I'm driving. Never thought I'd be this happy to recommend Car Insurance!

By Miles is a great example of a company that is run by ordinary people who want to disrupt an often unfair industry with no alternatives - and have done it so well! I love that I don't pay unless I use my car, which is a city car for small and rare trips. I love the way the company is run, how they communicate with me and how easy it is to track your journeys. Genuinely happy to recommend them to friends and family. Fair straightforward pricing

Best ever car insurance company

Fantastic car insurance for low mileage

I am a pensioner living in a rural area. I have a hybrid car and do about 5,000 miles per annum. My insurance quotes with other companies are around £500. With by Miles I just pay a small up front charge and then a few pence for each mile I do. (by Miles supply a tracker). They message me to tell me how much each journey costs, even if it’s only a few pence for a trip to the supermarket so I can keep track of my spend. At the end of the month I receive pre-notice of what will be taken from my account, then a statement on payment date. If I should do the odd long journey the amount is capped at 150 miles. It is absolutely brilliant. I can’t recommend the company highly enough for those who do a small mileage. Customer service folk are great too. Thankfully I haven’t had to make a claim so can’t report on that side of things, but expect it would be well handled like the rest of this service. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2022
