By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Nearly a year ago I took an insurance with By Miles and comparing with other companies, they offered the cheapest one, bit over 5 pence per mile, plus an upfront payment. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

For anyone on mid to low mileage, surely the cheapest insurance going. The app is brilliant as well, all the key info there, you can track your mileage as you go if you wish, plus loads of great extras such as 'find my car'. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Can’t fault them, its actually nice to be charged accordingly to how much you drive your car. A lot of people last year and throughout the pandemic hardly drove so why would I want to pay a large amount of money for my car to be stuck on the drive? Makes no sense to me. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

best way to save money on car insurance and to drive less so good for environment.

as single parent, its always helpful when you save on annual insurance cost. Having to pay by mile makes me think, do I need to drive, can I take alternative routes, hence less pollution. I have used car less on short distances and walked more. By miles has got the best customer service, do not take days or even hours and hours to respond, and always respond with that you want to hear. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

By miles has been the best car insurance I’ve ever used, the fact I get told how much each journey that I’ve done costs really helps me out, and having to only pay a small amount every month depending on how much you drive is a huge plus no having to pay ridiculous amounts every month, also the by miles miles tracker is very easy to install and also works as a security device as it can tell you where your car is and also can perform basic health checks on the car to make sure everything is okay, very pleased with the company.
