By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Cheapest, easiest, reliable insurance

I’ve had a great experience with By Miles. I only have a small commute to work and I don’t drive that much so By Miles was the best option for me. I can plan ahead prior to a big trip and know the cost before hand. This really is the best/cheapest option for those who don’t drive a lot. In comparison to other companies they’re so much cheaper! Working close to home, by miles allows me to save 100s of pounds a year by only paying for the miles I use, also if I do have a day with lots of miles I.e a holiday, it maxes out at £4.50 a day Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

By Miles are pioneering a much better way to do car insurance. I've never had such cheap insurance! They beat the next cheapest by over £65. The way it works is fair and transparent and you always know how much its going to cost you - no hidden surprises! I will keep an eye on this company and I'm hoping they branch into motorbike insurance soon - if they do, I'd be happy to send some more business their way! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
