By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent service and friend bonuses

Very good service and app which easily allows for monitoring journeys and status/ location of my car. Have recommended to a few friends as well offering the £50 bonus to the two of us which is a very helpful offer. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I've found that By Miles insurance employs a wonderful methodology of charging according to distance driven, without the big-brother tac tics of monitoring your speed and driving style. A fairer insurance

Who'd have thought....a car insurance that only charges when you actually driive it so if you're aware of the environment and you don't use your car a lot it works out much cheaper and fairer. The app is excellent... lets you know how much your journey cost as soon as you're home .... I'm always surprised at the low cost.....perfect for all the drivers who are caring for the planet by using their car less.... Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
