By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have to give ByMiles 5 out of 5 stars as they are can excellent Insurance Company to get Insurance with. The customer service team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful with any issues that you might have. They sort things out very quickly. The App is also great, you are able to keep track of things and even diagnose car engine problems with the Car Medic. Extremely useful. At Last Pay for what You Use

I have been driving for a few years now, well 60 years too be precise. In that time I have covered a few miles as you would expect. Coming from Yorkshire I am careful with money and when I started driving a drivers average miles per year was rarely more than 10000 so mileage was not considered important when taking out insurance. Everyone did similar miles and the chances of making a claim was more or less equal. Move on to todays motoring, where astronomical mileages can be done. So here is me doing 2000 miles per year compared to Fred Bloggs doing 250000.Who statistically is more likely to have a claim? FRED BLOGGS. Why should I pay extra to cover his costs as with typical insurers. I pay for what I do not for what he does, end of. That's why I love By Miles Thanks johnB Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

It's an excellent idea to offer insurance which only charges you for what you want, instead of the 'one fits all' policies of most companies. Setting up is easy. Any phone enquiries are answered very quickly and professionally by competent, friendly and patient employees. Without doubt the best insurance company I've dealt with in 49 years of motoring. Obviously Right

By Miles is so obviously the right wat to provide and to buy car insurance. Why would you ever want to pay for more miles than you drive? Paying by each mile with a daily limit is the obviously brilliant solution. Why would you want to risk being uninsured by underestimating the mileage that you actually do? Think of it this way - When I buy bread or milk I want to pay for what I use, as I use them - no more, no less and certainly not pay all up front for a full year of guesswork shopping.
