By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I hardly use my car so this insurance is great for me. Easy to use and set up and good customer service. Only use if you hardly use your vehicle though. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Great insurance

I like this insurance, it lets me know where my car is, if it’s broken and how and also it gives you the freedom of how much you pay if you do want to travel etc, you can also plan your journey and the cost! Thumbs up Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Brilliant concept for driving or less driving

I have saved around £300 on insurance by using this insurance. Brilliant idea and have told literally all my family and friends about it. I also had a call from my bank about renewing with them and the woman on the phone ended up signing up to Bymiles after trying to get me to renew with them!! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Ifeal insurance for me

This insurance policy is perfect for me being a senior citizen and driving very few miles a year . The basic price is very competitive and I just “ pay as I go “. On the two occasions I have phoned ByMiles, I found my call was answered very promptly by friendly, courteous, helpful staff . I think the whole concept of paying per mile is a great idea and I am surprised that other companies do not offer the same . I would have no hesitation in recommending ByMiles .
