By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I moved to ByMiles three years ago as I don’t drive very much anymore as I commute. The fact I know my standing charge and the cost per mile upfront means I know exactly what I’m paying for whereas previously I paid a high premium for my car to sit outside my house. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Perfect for our purposes

Our occasional use, mostly local journeys family car needs insurance but doesn't do much mileage. We already try to use it as little as possible because the other car is electric so much cheaper to run. Now we save on our insurance bill by reducing our mileage too, it's a really good fit for us. Perfect for low mileage users

I am retired hence I’m a low mileage user now, I was recommended by my granddaughter and got £50 free mileage, in tree months of local driving I’ve had free mileage. Great! . Highly recommended for low mileage users. Plus you get a record of each journey, and it warns you of any problems with your car via the interface. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
