By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Not only were they so easy to set up, the customer service is always so helpful if needed. Being a low mile drive as I like 7 min walk from my work , this insurance is a perfect fit and think it’s a great concept for those who don’t drive much. I have been with ByMiles Insurance for 3 months now, and I can honestly say that the service I have received has been excellent. When I get in touch with them with queries via the online chat app they respond very quickly and with a satisfactory, fair outcome. Fair insurance for lower mileage

I'm so happy I found this company. It has always seemed unfair to me that people who drive less, and are essentially less risk for being insurance claimers, have to pay the same as those who drive alot and are more likely to have to claim on their car insurance. To only be charged for how many miles I drive is a revelation, and also encourages more people to walk and keep their bill down which helps the environment. Win/win Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
