By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By Miles is perfect for a low mileage driver such as myself. The experience is fuss-free and the app is very informative for seeing my mileage over time. Pricing is very fair and has helped to lower my annual insurance costs by some margin. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Now that I'm working from home a lot more, having a high quality insurance policy which has a 'pay as you go' component to it makes so much sense. Detailed monthly statements on the app are great. It also motivates me to walk and cycle a bit more which is good. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Easy to setup and great customer service

Have had no issues with ByMiles. Setting up their reader was a doddle, and when I had to contact Customer service they were able to help me via chat in their app. Costs have been kept super low for us, so it really makes sense for people who don't do massive miles Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
