By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Innovative and cost-effective

To be honest, I get sick of standard insurance companies putting up their premiums every time I renew, so after being with my last one for two years without any accidents or claims only to have my premium double I decided enough was enough! This was when I discovered "By Miles", it was the best decision I have made. They are innovative and very cost-effective. You are charged a base amount, in my case, it was £12 pcm and with the aid of a nifty little plug in gadget charged only for the extra mileage you do. My highest monthly bill was £24! And to think I had been paying £41 which would have almost doubled!! I highly recommend By Miles, fantastic insurance company and long may they reign. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

If you are a heavy car user then this may not be the plan for you but for domestic use and especially if you live in Cities this is the best car insurance for me. They are easy to deal with and the app allows you to see how much you are spending. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
