By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Low milage

I am a low mileage driver. This policy was much more competitive on cost than other policies. Every year the cost of my policy has decreased. No need to go searching for a policy cheaper every year due to increasing cost. Would recommend for low mileage drivers. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Have been with By Miles for about 3 years now and never had an issue. The app is super easy to navigate and gives you a breakdown of every journey taken and cost of said journey (great for budgeting). The few times I've needed to speak to someone they have been quick to get hold of and prompt at resolving any issue. Great peace of mind company for car insurance. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Sensible choice for low mileage drivers

No dramas, all rewards. I don’t drive huge miles, so it is frustrating to pay for a police that doesn’t reflect this. By Miles rewards me for keeping the car at home, encouraging me to walk & cycle more which is better for me and the planet. And now, my wallet! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

The best flexible car insurance by far!

Effective proactive service provided from day 1. One doesn't just hear from Bymiles at premium renewal time but useful information for drivers is provided all year round. Particularly useful as EEC rules and driving conditions have been changing. Invaluable 'value for money' for low mileage drivers, especially highlighted during Covid travel restrictions in the UK.....well done, would have no hesitation in renewing! Not only have I saved a tonne of money using ByMiles, but the service they've offered (minus and claims, as I never made a claim with any provider) is second to none. Their app is well designed and easy to use and gives me all the information I'd ever need and more. The chat service they run has been really great.
