By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have been with by miles for last 3 years and I have saved a lot of money I used to pay £110 everything month with other provider but now I pay around £20 a month. Shorter distance driver wins!

My second year with By Miles. I use my car daily for local (within 10miles) trips, a few times (4/5) a month for longer trips (up to 80miles return) and around twice a year for trips from Glasgow to Cornwall. I can’t fault By Miles for the cost of my monthly insurance. And so far, year on year have come out cheaper than previous insurance company prices. It makes sense! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

a no brainer

if you don't use your car often it's a no brainer. easy to set up. easy to see how much you spend. and first ever insurance that at renewal quoted me a cheaper premium than previous year, without having to go through the usual process of getting quotes from competitors and forcing the current provider to match it. You can see a load of useful things in the app would recommend to anyone doing a small number of miles. It's nice to see all the stuff you can on the app and it's really easy to see your policy/change things etc only things I would add ... It would be nice to see where you are on the find my car section of the app and also it's only a cost effective insurance if you aren't doing many miles. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
