By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have used By Miles twice for insurance now, I only moved previous as they were unable to insure me when I replaced my car with a van. I specifically chose them over the options given on a comparison site as I knew they have excellent customer service and really comprehensive cover. Best idea for car insurance ever! Through lock down I'd not been using my car very often and I'm still not using it so much now so getting to save a little bit of money every month goes a long way! You'll never lose your car again with the little tracker either! Absolutely love By Miles and I think family and friends are sick of me going on about it. Definitely worth it! Amazing! Allows me to get cheaper insurance. Being young car insurance is usally soo expensive and bymiles allows me to keep the expenses down to a minimum. Tracker is quick and easy to install and you forget it's even there. Dashboard is easy to understand and love the fact you can make changes to your policy without actually having to speak to anyone! If you are like us and use your car infrequently, then this is the insurer for you. With a small and reasonable fixed price and pay for only what you use in actual miles driven, it is far more cost effectiove than conventional insurance policies. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
