By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Superb low milage insurance

Easy to sort out no hidden agenda just great low milage insurance with the added benefit of a tracker for your car and an app that keeps you upto date with payments etc and also can do diagnostic checks on your cars health Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

I don’t drive many miles in my car but always end up paying much more than I expect for my insurance. By Miles however have saved me an extraordinary amount of money each month and I couldn’t be happier! If my policy price remains as excellent as it is now I won’t ever want to switch provider! As a pensioner and still very independant, the recognition that I and many other drivers have cars sitting in a driveway more than they are being driven. BY MILES has offered a solution to this situation. My monthly premium has dropped by £25 for my first month, so x 12 months represents a £300 saving a year to me. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

For me by Miles has been the perfect car insurance, by far! Being able to only pay for the miles I drive is a real game changer. My partner and I only cover short distances and the occasional long trip. So rather than paying a lump sum for the year the insurance cost is less and spread out over the year. I really don't know why more insurers haven't adopted this model. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
