By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

What an incredible discovery!

Having trawled the internet in search of a reasonably priced but comprehensive insurance for a car that generally I just drive locally I stumbled across By Miles. It has been great to be told how much each journey costs so I can monitor my spending. This summer I needed to drive to Switzerland and worried about the extortionate cost of the insurance. I was assured then that there was a cap on the charge after a certain distance so was pleasantly surprised with the day’s rate.
