By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I was bit conscious about buying the policy as it was only marginally cheaper than a regular one. The concept is great and very well implemented through an excellent app. As well as being able to do the usual policy changes via app, very responsive customer services, you an keep track of your mileage/spend and whereabouts of vehicle. The only additional feature I would request is for the app, after first 6 months of use, to be able to continually forecast the full year spend. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Extremely affordable

Due to me being military personnel it makes sense for me to just pay for what i drive and realistically i do not drive all that often and i also get deployed alot. When i do drive the rates are super reasonable and affordable and fot that reason this has always been the best and most affordable option in regards to car insurance. Would highly recommend for low mileage drivers. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
