By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Recommended every time

There are no cons everything is a pro with By Miles. They are cost effective, efficient and friendly. I've never made a claim but whenever I have got in touch my queries have been answered quickly and by knowledgable staff. The app is super user friendly and it's easy to see how much you have spent that month. Especially in these times where you have to be a bit more conscious about the pounds! I've been with By Miles for 3 years now - the longest I've ever stayed with an insurance provider. Every year I check quotes and every year By Miles comes out on top. I have saved hundreds by being with them. Most months I pay less than £20 (inclusive of the standard rate which I can now spread monthly) rather than the £70-80 plus I'm quoted by other companies. In fact this year, my cost per mile and standard rate both went down! The only bill to do so. Highly recommend for every reason! Reviewed on: 5th October 2022
