Caravan insurance

When I cancelled Caravan Club membership as we were giving up caravanning, I was told my caravan insurance cover would cease immediately, so I had to insure it elsewhere until sold. I insured with Caravan Guard, as our son has had his ‘van covered with them for years. Feel that I should have insured with Caravan Guard years ago - they were more sympathetic, despite being with the C.C. for 30 years and having my caravan always insured with them..
