A brilliant current account

I set up a Chase account after reading a recommendation on the Money Saving Expert website regarding the benefit of overseas spending. Initially I only transferred money from my main account for a trip to Canada. However, I use this as my main personal current account due to the linked savings account and the preferential interest rate, and also the cashback and round-up facilities. The process of setting up the account felt secure, yet relatively straightforward. Having instant access to my account, and its virtual debit card was a bonus. Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service and the app is the best of any bank I’ve used. When I had an issue with a payment they were very responsive and helpful. It’s just a shame they cut back some of the benefits when you’ve been with them a while. Reviewed on: 16th February 2026
