Loyal customer

I’ve been a customer with DBS for many years. They sold me my first mortgage in 1975. The staff have always been more than helpful. They allowed me to pay interest only for a short time when I needed support due to my marriage breakdown in the 1980’s. This helped me to keep my home (I had two young children) The staff whom I’ve met many of over the years are always helpful and supportive when I need information about the products. I currently have an ISA as well as a 45 day notice account. I’m very happy that I took my late Father’s advice when I started saving for a Mortgage at 18 years old. Dad couldn’t recommend the DBS highly enough. He wasn’t wrong. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

I had several regular saver accounts in the past.

I had several regular saver accounts in the past. The interst rates were good. However they continued to reduce them far faster than the base rate was going down. This in my view was unfair and made them uncompetitive compared with many bank and building society accounts. I have closed most of them down and only have one left with a token deposit in it. Product variations, Flexibility and Value for Money

As i worked into entrance of Darlington Building society, warm welcome, good customer service and good marketing team, i was satisfied like prayers answered to my savings need, i saw value for my money in the next 10 years and a concrete startegy of saving and the right account to suit me. I a married new migrant in the UK, i needed where i could save money,plan for the money and have a convenient saving strategy. I went through big renowned banks but couldn't get the exact kind of account i needed. Darlington Building society gave me everything. Stockton Branch Shining stars

Whenever I visit the Stockton on Tees branch the staff are always very engaging. They always have a friendly hello and are very knowledgeable about products. Could not fault the service. No query is a problem and they make me feel like they care. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

.Got There in the End !

Tried to open an ISA in Redcar branch but needed to make an appointment which wasn't convenient. Tried to open one on line but struggled so phoned the help line and was expertly guided by a friendly and knowledgeable lady. Success Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
