Helpful staff at an emotional time

After loosing my Mum I went to DBS to process her accounts. They were very helpful both at the initial meeting and explaining the process and also at the point where we had received probate and helped us move the r money from the old accounts Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

Good services for many years

Held Special Occasion savings accounts for many years as well as Bonds and ISAs - always competitive and good service. Staff in branches at Northallerton and Bishop Auckland are always helpful and friendly. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

Full marks to Bishop Auckland

Whenever I go in to deposit cash into my savings account the staff are always friendly and interested and particularly lately have managed any queues very well. The branch in Bishop Auckland is very well presented both inside and out and I like to support local businesses when I can. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

I visited the Barnard Castle branch twice with my tw...

I visited the Barnard Castle branch twice with my twin babies to open their savings accounts. The staff were patient and accommodating. I also telephoned the main number with a query, I quickly got through to a very helpful real life person, they talked me through the process of setting up the internet banking and stayed on the line to make sure I managed.
