First Firect First Class

I've been with First Direct since the bank opened. I like that you get straight through to a friendly operator 24 hrs a day 365 days a year. No press 1 blah blah blah nonsense. I get a £250 free overdraft and can manage my account online or go into HSBC branches or the post office. I wouldn't bank with anyone else. Reviewed on: 18th July 2017

Black & white banking

What you see is what you get with FD. Over the years they've invested in improving their app and to this day I feel confident as a customer to manage my finances via the app or online. Have held current account for 12 years. They are the best bank by far. Easy to use online... When using phone staff are polite, efficient and have a real conversation with you. Would never change banks. They are fabulous Reviewed on: 7th June 2017

Great service

The account itself was attractive at the time of opening with by far the best overdraft available on an account offering a switching bonus. My only concern was the lack of branches but I have been consistently impressed with the phone service available from the bank and would not consider moving to a different account.
