Simple but effective

Best bank account

I've switched current accounts many times but I always keep my FD current account. It's less quick now but still the best telephone banking when you need to use it. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Secure Banking

Best Customer care in 30 plus years of banking

Finally a couple years back as a 50-something decided I needed to try online banking. FD were the most clear and transparent about their services and how it worked. Especially about online security procedures. Joining was easy and a couple of minor queries were dealt with over the phone with extremely helpful and courteous operators. I've been very reticent about online banking for many years but First Direct have been excellent IMO. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Fantastic app and chat bot

First Direct's app is exceptionally easy to use. The chat bot is leagues above others I have tried. I have sorted out so many questions I had with moving abroad and it was so easy to get expert advice. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

The best bank ever!

I’ve been with Firsr Direct for around two years, and couldn’t be happier. Every time I’ve needed to contact them, they’ve been super helpful and friendly - more like calling a friend than a bank - and have made everything really easy and straightforward.
