Disappointing mobile and online banking

Banks are banks, they do what they do, so the point of interaction with the customer makes all the difference. Unfortunately, first direct's mobile and online banking services are clumsy and outdated. Compared to banking apps I have used in the past, the functionality is limited and processes, especially around security, are not as user-friendly as they could be. I am considering switching. By far the best bank

Faultless in virtually every aspect and backed by HSBC (rather than a start up with a nice shiney mobile app but nothing to back this up when things go wrong (as they surely do at some point).
