Avoid this company at all costs

I have worked in insurance for 15 years and Geoffrey insurance are easily worst company i have ever dealt with. Taken 5 payments from account in 2 banking days, they have no idea why, they have hung up on me twice trying to contact them, have left me witch charges for failed Direct Debits from other companies because they took money when they shouldnt have. Sent 2 emails with no reply, you then fill the complaint form on there website, when you submit the form it goes to page not found. Avoid this company at all costs, they have no clue what they are doing or how to fix it when they have made a mistake. Out of pocket £60 in charges, plus £120 from them taking payments that where not authorised. Reviewed on: 27th November 2023

Disgusting behaviour

Just like many of the other reviews this company renewed my policy without sending me a renewal quote and just took the money from my account, when I have tried to get it back they are saying it will take 7 days, the bank won’t help as they say the transaction has been processed - so disappointed and angry about this So unfair Reviewed on: 23rd November 2023

Disgraceful company to deal with

They took £966+ to renew a policy I didn't want renewing then when I cancelled the policy they told me I would be refunded in 7 days. 7 days later still no refund so I called and was told it would be another 7 days I would recommend avoiding this company Reviewed on: 22nd September 2023

Scammers

They are real scammers. I haven't had any claims for 10 years. But renewed the incurance at two and a half times more expensive. This is compleati nonsense. They are scammers. I will spread this information all over the internet. I don't recommend it. Reviewed on: 10th September 2023

Extortionate renewal

Had first year at £27/MTH. Renewal came through at over £80/MTH!!!! Called to query as no new claims, 10+ years NCD and same car (standard DS3 HDi). Even the advisor was shocked but nothing he could do. BYE BYE Geoffrey, hello elsewhere at £30/MTH Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

They doubled the price of my premium without any justifications

I got my renewal quote, and they doubled the costs. I had no convictions, no claims and when I contacted the customer care center they said they cannot do anything and have no answer for this price. It is definitely unbelievable. Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Cheap insurance which cost

Beware their Essentials policy - it doesn't cover glass (which seems pretty essential to me!). A vandal smashed my windscreen which cost £550 to replace - strangely if they had damaged any other part of the car as well my policy would have covered the windscreen. Incorrectly told twice that I could claim which added to the distress. When I complained, I was told they couldn't find any record of the calls, despite me giving them the names of the people I spoke to and the times. My husband's car was also damaged - he has comprehensive insurance with the AA and his was fixed in a couple of days for £50 excess. Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Had my renewal insurance today and its doubled in price! What on earth are they playing at, going from£750 upto £1600. Well it may be cancelled and going to where its cheaper. An i wouldnt give any stars but it wont let you continue so it had a 1 star from me Reviewed on: 19th July 2023

Total scam con artist

I mail a claim and they took my car away right away. But since then I have had no communication from them. When I call they say I have to call West Bay the insurance company as Geoffrey is only a broker. What a shambles as I keep getting passed from the companies back and forth. 6 days on and still no call from either Geoffrey or west bay. I requested my no claims bonus certificate and on here it stated had accident but no fault of mine. Yet I have not been told this from Geoffrey insurance. I am now worried that they will not pay me what my car is worth please avoid this company yes they may be cheep but this is because they are cutting corners. Reviewed on: 1st June 2023
