Glasgow Credit Union loans can be used for any purpose including home improvements and debt consolidation.

With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

I've been a member for over 20years- at first as a Glasow City Coucil employee where savings would be taken via the payroll. Such a fantastic way to save before such things as top up savings were available in banks. It was so easy to budget and not worry about saving for the unexpected expenses such as a new washing machine! And it meant there was always money for holidays and school uniforms etc. When I retired I was very happy to find out I could continue to save and have done so for 9 years making it easy to put away money for the big bucket list trips and things needing done to the house. I applaud the idea of credit unions for affordable loans and encouraging saving habits. Staff are very friendly, helpful and informed and always ready to give expert advice. Go Glasgow Credit Union!
