Excellent, efficient, trustworthy and friendly

I've been with GWCU for years, both for savings and loans. Always had an excellent, friendly and helpful experience with them. They are trustworthy, very efficient and go above and beyond to help. Their interest rates in loans are fair and interest on savings is good. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. Reviewed on: 30th May 2025

Human beings? In a bank?

Bristol Credit Union is the only bank I know of that is staffed byreal people who give you the time of day when you phone them up. This means so much more to me than the so called bells and whistles offered by other banks. You can keep your 'Choose option 3' - with BCU I'm straight through to a real friendly human and that's what banking should be about. Also I know this lot aren't going to rip me off or invest my money in nasty things like fossil fuels. They are just the best. Reviewed on: 11th June 2020

Great staff and services.

I am very grateful for all of the help and advice I have received from Bristol Credit Union, fantastic community service with opportunity's for not only support and advice but great competitions etc. Customer services are excellent, very fast communications and staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Social financing at its best!

BCU does what it says on the can - providing finance to those the high street banks won’t lend too. Making cheaper finance available to those that may be vulnerable to doorstep lenders, thereby minimising financial stress from those already struggling.
