Credit Unions are better than the big banks

I have been saving with this credit union for around sixteen years. What's good is that I know when I am saving someone else is able to borrow so I am supporting people on lower incomes than myself. I also have found that if I need my money I contact the branch and the customer service is excellent. I know my money is safe, supporting people who need it and is easy to hand if I need it. Makes saving easy

So easy to save through payroll and good rates of interest. I was encouraged to start saving with the "Stop loan sharks" incentive and keep saving monthly. It means I can afford a short get away with friends every year and I don't have to worry about paying for it, because I don't notice the small amount that goes out from my pay every month. A great product, would highly recommend

We had a webinar with someone from Great Western Credit Union at work to tell us all about their products and I attended as I wanted to hear more about their savings product. It was very well explained and the product is great. 7% interest easy access which beats any easy access on the market at the moment and its super convenient to just have the money taken out of my salary before I get it into my bank. Very easy to set up a savings account.

A Union to Stick With.

We have been both regular savers for many years and have also taken out loans over that period. Each time we have dealt with them, either online or speaking to someone we have had a very good experience particularly when taking out a loan. Friendly and efficient, good support staff. Supportive and professional

I have been a member since GWCU was set up and over the years it has been invaluable with loan and savings support, enabling me to manage my money in a supportive and timely way, helping me through lifes up and Downs.
