Local excellence

Service is always with a smile in my local Halifax branch and the staff always go out of their way to help. My Reward Current Account is really easy to manage online too and I can choose to receive texts if my balance reaches a specific amount or goes overdrawn. Oh, and I get £3 a month reward which is much more than I would get in interest with a minimal balance. Reviewed on: 13th November 2017

Worth looking at

We use AA, phone insurance, travel insurance and home care facility (plumbing etc). So the fee covers these. It's worth doing the sums and seeing if this account works out well for you. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

nice reward, could do better for disabled customers

Got money for switching and Î£5 a month (now down to Î£3) which i like, but they were not very considering or accommodating for a disabled persons needs. Like the online banking. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Excellent bank

We have been with the Halifax for a number of years and have never experienced anything negative in dealing with them. I now have a relationship associate who rings us every few months, we go over accounts, products and any problems. This is an excellent, personal service. Going in for booked appointments is easy with a professional service, they offer polite, informative help. Their banks are clean, modern facilities and up to date equipment. Excellent bank account

This account is fantastic as it gives you money back for your everyday banking and direct debits. You can even choose companies you shop with to gain rewards from! Also the service in branch and on the phone is great too! Reviewed on: 6th November 2017
