SVR not come down after 3 interest rate cuts. SVR not come down after 3 interest rate cuts. Savings rates have come down. SVR goes up immediately interest rates go up. Gross profiteering imo. Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

Mortgage Service

I initially contacted Hanley because I was attracted by their mortgage products which were very competitive at the time I applied. I received excellent customer service from start to finish with the processing of my mortgage application. The staff were always polite, friendly, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The Human Touch

On the rare occasions that I’ve needed to contact them about my mortgage I cannot even bring to tell you how nice it is to just speak to a normal person without umpteen button presses. Even better, the person can almost always deal with the query themselves, and only occasionally do they need to transfer directly to a specific department. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

The Hanley makes the whole mortgage process easy. I honestly can’t fault the mortgage process with Hanley Economic. From start to finish it was clear, smooth, and so well handled. Everything was explained in a way that actually made sense, communication was spot on, and I never felt rushed or left wondering what was happening next. The whole process felt far less stressful than I expected, and that’s entirely down to how professional and supportive they were.
