Affordable for young drivers

I’m 18 and just got my first year of insurance with black box which helps save lots of money. It was quick delivery and the app is excellent - I recommended to all my friends starting to pass their driving tests! Reviewed on: 16th September 2024

Admin charges

Went to ombudsman

Hastings direct.. and yes they are pretty good. We did have a problem with my sons insurance though and after going to the ombudsman it was rectified by HD without the need for the ombudsman. I'd rate them 6/10 Reviewed on: 27th February 2017

Penalised as an army family

I'm Hastings and they are ok - they gave me a good renewal price but we've never had to claim with them (touch wood) so that could change. They did penalise us as an army family though as we knew we were posted 6 weeks after renewal and they wouldn't budge with the fee to change address Reviewed on: 27th February 2017

For the 2nd year in a row Hastings have given me renewal quotes at least 15-20% lower than any other company or comparison site. I've not had to deal with them yet with any claims etc, but so far I've been very happy with their prices and communication. Reviewed on: 11th February 2017
