Secured the Best Rate When Others Couldn’t

I had a very positive experience working with Heron Financial for my first property purchase through the Help to Buy scheme in London. Before contacting them, I had spoken to other mortgage brokers who told me I wouldn’t be able to borrow enough for the flat I wanted. I was asked for excessive documentation, experienced long delays, and was even advised to consider cheaper properties. The process felt discouraging and unnecessarily complicated. Heron Financial approached my case differently. They were proactive, solution-focused, and ultimately secured the mortgage I needed at a very competitive rate. The process was clear, efficient, and far less stressful than my previous experiences. Two years later, when it was time to extend my mortgage, I returned to them. The process was once again straightforward and smooth. While I hear from neighbours about complex solicitor requirements, additional insurance products, and unexpected fees when extending, my experience with Heron Financial was simple and transparent. They are approachable, friendly, efficient, and clearly experienced in navigating the mortgage market. I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for reliable mortgage advice.
