Unexpected Health problems

Was devastated when my husband was diagnosed with dementia. Then being told by a travel company that we have used for years that they declined our travel insurance. Rang Holiday extras that we had used once before, was connected to a lovely compassionate lady who listened and sorted everything out for us and put our minds at rest knowing we can carry on enjoying our travels together. Great experience so far!

I can't talk about the insurance itself as I have not had to use it and only just bought it, but my experience with purchasing the insurance has been great. I loved how the process has bee executed, the website has user friendly interface ad nice animations in between. Everything is clear when you book and thoroughly explained in the policy wording, which I can't say about other insurers I researched. I also think that the value for money is there and I liked holiday extras most when it comes to comparing to the others. I never really had such good experience at that stage with any insurer. I finally don't feel anxious about ambiguities in the policy, what I read made me feel confident about what I have purchased. Reviewed on: 17th January 2025
