Hsbc advance current account

The biggest benefit I feel is the customer service I receive when using telephone banking for queries, seem to get through very quickly and issues always resolved efficiently with excellent customer service Reviewed on: 6th November 2017

Reliable

Online banking needs to be modernised

I have been with HSBC since I was 7 years old. I keep my current account because its the one I have memorised over the years! In terms of internet banking, they are lagging behind - the app is outdated and clunky to use. Fingerprint log in would be a good start HSBC - come on! Reviewed on: 5th November 2017

The decline of HSBC and banks in general

As the Midland Bank, HSBC were really good. Even as HSBC they used to be good, but gradually all the local branches closed down and they became totally impersonal. This has happened to nearly all banks - eventually I suppose, almost all banking will be done online. Though this has some obvious advantages, the personal experience will be virtually zero. Nice and Simple

Basic bank account is good and online banking is simple and easy to use. No fee for account, no interest...I have no experience of overdraft so no idea about this side of the account. Lots of branches with, in my experience, helpful staff and plenty of ATMs. Reviewed on: 6th September 2017
