Review of the InsureandGo, Travel Insurance:

Avoid to buy insurance with this company. Terrible.

1
Avoid to buy an insurance with this company. Terrible. During the process they don’t said that if you have medical treatment the policy will no work. I bought for my son the 2nd of January an insurance. After I pay he received the policy and confirmation and the first think they said is that : if you have a medical treatment during the pass 2years the policy will not cover you. I call them immediately to cancel it. And the voicemail was the only one that takes my call. I called them again today to cancel and they didn’t refund me the total I paid. They are NOT clear in the process. Obviously if they mention about the medical treatment during the buying process I will NEVER buy it! Hiding information like this is robbery and dishonesty MAKING people buy something that they will not be able to use, specially an insurance when the main thing is to feel secure. I am totally unhappy. And I absolutely don't recommend them. Reviewed on: 4th January 2023

Annual multi trip to Include Australia.

5
Trying to find Travel insurance for over 70’s is not good. We are going to Australia for 4 weeks plus 5 days in Hong Kong and the only company who would come up with a reasonable quote for an annual policy were Insure and go. Many of the companies do not cover enough to include Business travel which is very expensive these days. I used them before with our previous trip to Australia 2 years ago. As we all get older my husband is 79 we thought we better travel before he reached 80 as all insurances seem to go up regardless. We also travel to our holiday home in France 3 to 4 times a year and this will cover that as well. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2024

Good value and peace of mind

I've never had to claim, so can't comment on the most important part of the service, but the policies look to be comprehensive and are good value. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

I got an annual travel insurance policy with them for a great rate which included current health issues. Forgot to mention one of my ailments and phoned them back. Policy was updated immediately. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Poor company that look for loopholes

We have travelled to Canada to visit family and my wife physically damaged her back at the start if the trip to which we got an mri and showed a buldging disc and need assistance for the flight back Sent all the reports to Kamini . We then needed to get five years of medical reports sent, which we did promptly only to receive a response back from Kamini that "Our medical team has reviewed the records and confirm that there was pre-existing back pain that was not declared at the time of the purchase of the policy." Just because she did not report back pain from the last 5 years (be it small) how can they relate this to physical back damage sustained in Canada. She has never had a buldging disc from a physical injury such as this this is just a way insureandgo can get out of assisting someone with insurance who needs assistance .I find this wrong, disturbing and unethical for someone in need of assistance I'm getting back home.... Think twice, they will do anything they can to not help and support you... they are happy to take you money... Im angry and sad to see my wife go through pain since we have been here and to find no support from insure2go is awful. Just awful Reviewed on: 5th January 2024

They do not pay claims!

1
To anyone looking for travel insurance this year I would recommend against @InsureandGoAU as they DO NOT cover cancellation by airline (with a top tier insurance policy) even though their website claims they do Reviewed on: 13th December 2023

Very easy to set up. I have not had to claim though.

5
Well, I guess you only know how good your insurance is until you've had to claim on it. Then I will find out how quick the phone lines are and how easy it is to make claims etc. However, the setting up of it, and the information surrounding which plan I was most suited to was super clear. I had to contact support, and they were charming. Reviewed on: 1st March 2023
