I’ve been really impressed with Laka’s unique approach to cycle insurance. The sign-up process was straightforward and the pricing model feels fair and transparent—especially as it rewards a community of careful riders. Customer service was prompt and friendly when I had questions, and all my policy details were easy to access online. Thankfully, I haven’t needed to make a claim so far, but knowing repairs and replacements are covered gives me real confidence when I’m out riding. I like that they’re transparent about where your money is going and what it’s for. I weirdly feel a sense of community despite it being an insurance company?! The amount you pay changes based on whether people have actually had accidents/thefts etc Reviewed on: 16th September 2025

Laka cycle insurance is the best!

Laka cycle insurance is the only one that actually stated it would cover the theft of my bike if left unattended providing it was properly secured using recommended locking devices. Most others had wording that excluded Theft. Reviewed on: 16th September 2025

I’m really impressed with this mountain bike insurance policy. The price is very reasonable compared to others I looked at, and the cover gives me real peace of mind when I’m out riding. Thankfully, I haven’t had to make a claim, but the process of getting set up was simple and straightforward, and the communication from the company has been clear and reassuring.
