Generally good but some points raised.

Things are generally ok here, I mean thankfully I have not had to claim which is when an insurance company really comes to the test. However, I do have three important points I’d like to raise, in hope that Laka can improve: 1. I’ve currently got five (5) fairly expensive bicycles insured with them and never have I heard them mention anything about a loyalty rate. 2. We get the statement just a day before the payment is due, on one occasion I didn’t even get a statement and payment bounced. 3. Communion when reaching out isn’t exactly timely, in fact, it took someone a week to get back when I was setting up my account and came across some questions which were mainly because I was unfamiliar with using such platform previously. People on the Laka side shouldn’t take other people’s experiences according to their own and that’s a big one when responding to customer’s queries. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2025

The best bike insurance you can have!

I have had two claims with Laka over the last couple of years, 1 stolen bike and then parts stolen whilst the bike was parked. Both times they quickly dealt with my claim taking about a week to get everything done. My bikes tend to have a lot of niche/special order components and they have never made an issue of this when it comes a claim. I can’t recommend more highly for those who want the peace of mind of great insurers who understand cyclists. Reviewed on: 20th September 2025

I had a serious accident on my bike approximately one year ago. Laka were there to support in every step of the way, and they were incredible.
