If you cycle regularly and want a more modern, transparent insurance model (‘community’ style), Laka is among the better options in the UK. It tends to bring good value, especially if you don’t expect to make frequent big claims. The customer service is well rated, and the straightforward claim process is a plus. I needed to make a claim, it was a stress free process, the bike shop i used however wasnt the greatest in the end, but working with Laka I got the best result despite the poor shop I used. I couldn't fault anything they did for me, and the after claim team was also amazing. Reviewed on: 18th September 2025
