Excellent modern bike insurance company

Laka have been brilliant from beginning to end. They are transparent with costs and their support team are very quick and efficient. Simple to use and understand. I had a claim and had it resolved within 24 hours - I recommend them to everyone and this is exactly how modern insurance should be! Reviewed on: 2nd October 2022

Great people, great communication

I used to insure my bike through our house contents insurance but when I had to claim it was a nightmare! Someone recommended Laka to me because they said they are no quibble if you need to claim. Fortunately I haven't had to but their staff are great communicators with day to day issues. It's run like a co-operative, the best firm out there! Reviewed on: 2nd October 2022

Great so far

Not been using laka for too long, but the sign-up process was easy and keeping track of gear and assets is a breeze. Hoping I'll never have to use, but I also hear that getting a claim together is easy too. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2022

Laka is great

It's insurance specifically for cyclists! It insures for accidents and stolen bike in or out of your home. You can insure for specific bikes and gear. Your payment depends on how much has been claimed overall by Laka community. So sometimes it's quite low. But there's also an upper limit so you know it won't go over a certain amount. I use Laka because it is genuine. Other products are just re-badged contents insurance which don't show any understanding of how cyclists use our bikes and kit. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2022

Dealt excellently and swiftly with my damage claim.

Was hit by a car that didn’t stop. LAKA agreed same day to have the car on fibre damage professionally examined.repair estimate was agreed within 48 hours. They also settled the dealers invoice next day. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2022
